We are often asked whether the laser has replaced electrolysis as the preferred hair removal technology.

Absolutely not! Laser and electrolysis are complementary technologies.

• The laser has the advantage of speed which is ideal to clear large areas fast.

• The electrolysis hand piece is small and allows access to hairs that cannot be reached by the larger laser hand piece.

• Laser hair removal works well on dark hair/fair skin combinations, whereas electrolysis can be used on all hair colours

The Gentle Touch continues to provide both technologies and will advise you which technology combination is best for you.
